The Education Committee is very excited to kick off a brand new Rotation Sunday School program this
Sunday the 26th at 9:45 am. The program will be for all children grades K to Middle School. The program is
designed for the children to rotate to a different center each week with different learning activities set up very much like
Vacation Bible School.
Come join us as we ride through United Methodist history with John Wesley and the
early Methodists. Children will experience life in the times of John Wesley and the circuit riders. It’s a great learning
experience that’s fun!
• Crafts, games, and music
• Historical dramas and Bible
stories
• Interest centers
• Interactive “Walk Through
Wesley” timeline
• Ways to utilize the gifts and talents of the adults in your congregation
• Interactive learning experiences
Children will learn
• about our United Methodist heritage and how it has shaped who we are as people of faith
• that God inspired John Wesley and other early leaders of our church to spread the good news about Jesus throughout
the world
• that God continues to call us to tell the world about Jesus today
How Can You Help?
We will need several volunteers to tell
stories and help with our activities, your commitment is only one Sunday.
We will also need to restock our supply
closet, any items that you can help with would be greatly appreciated. We need the following:
Washable Markers
Construction paper
Drawing paper
Glue sticks
Beeswax sheets
Fabric glue
Tape - Scotch, masking, duct
Lined paper for writing
Colored pens
and pencils
Candle wicking
Foam sheets
